Christmas Spirit Day! The winner today of the sonic Card is I’Sadaria Jones.
Congratulations to all of the 9th-12th graders who received awards and free days today.
DHS presented awards to students for All A’s and A/B Honor roll, Ready and Exceeding in the ACT Aspire, and ACT College Ready, AP exams, CNA certification, and CTE certifications. The adHS students earned 500 free day certificates for their outstanding scores.

These DHS seniors are participating in the Certificate of Proficiency Ceremony where they will receive their Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate. These students completed the CNA program at the UAM college of Technology in McGehee this semester while also taking their senior class load. We are so proud of their hard work and accomplishment! Congratulations ladies!

Reminder:
Students taking the ACT Saturday will need a photo ID and their ACT Admission Ticket. If they do not have a photo ID, they need to see the counselor or career coach before Saturday.
The students that signed up for the ACT Bootcamp will be in the library Friday. Report to class and be dismissed from there.

Christmas parade is still on and will begin at 6PM. The band will be marching and playing Christmas music!
Ms. Chambers’ classes are learning how The Periodic Table of Elements is organized and why it’s organized the way it is. As a class project, they made a large Periodic Table to hang in the hallway. If you get a chance stop by and ask to see their hard work. Plus, ask your student about this. 😊 They are all very proud!
