Dumas Bobcats
A special thanks tonight to the Dumas School District Administrators and Law Enforcement Officers for quickly maintaining perimeters and responding to the fighting incident which took place outside the facility gates. The persons involved were not students within the school district. Gun shots were fired several streets away from the campus and law enforcement officers secured the entire area. We are committed to ensuring safety for parents, students and all in attendance during any campus event. Metal detectors and wands will continue to be used when entering our facilities. We appreciate your continued support.
Go Bobcats!💛💜

The students in Coach Slater's Personal Fitness classes learned how to use a fat loss monitor. They had to input some personal data(ht and wt). This enabled them to find their BMI and %fat. Then they used this data to figure their pounds of fat and lean. Body composition is one of the health-related skills that they need to be at a standard to be healthy.
