It is indeed an honor to serve as Superintendent of Dumas Public Schools. I believe that all students have limitless potential. It is my desire that every student have a positive educational experience and graduate from Dumas Public Schools college and career ready so they can go on to achieve whatever goals they have set for themselves. In order for this to happen, we must provide equitable learning opportunities for every student – acknowledging, respecting and celebrating their unique attributes. As Superintendent of this great district, I am committed to providing the students with quality education, a healthy and safe learning atmosphere, an environment where they can develop their skills to reach their full potential, and a place they can take pride in. The upcoming school year will continue to be one that is immersed in innovation, high expectations, and excellence. As a product and educator of this system, I have learned that the existing tradition of excellence is due, in large part, to the wonderful people who comprise our communities and the hard working students and staff within our school walls.

I urge you to take the time to read our Parent-Student Handbook and to take into account its importance in the success of your student in our school district. The handbook provides valuable information and serves as a resource that will assist both parents and students in understanding many of the policies and procedures put forth by Dumas Public Schools.

It is my request that you become an active participant in our school district and encourage you to support our students and dedicated staff as we strive to make Dumas Public Schools better.
