Professional Development
2022-2023
The following plan outlines the tentative schedule for the Dumas Public School district for professional development for the 2022-23 school year. The district will continue to monitor and make adjustments per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updates in regards to Covid-19. Any special announcements that relate to professional development will be announced from the superintendent’s office and shared with building level administrators.
Guidelines and safety practices will be implemented in all professional settings.
Because the professional development registration process involves the entire district of instructional staff and administrators, detailed steps are outlined below. Please follow the steps below to register for Professional Development sessions and to complete your professional development plan.
Access the district web page, click on the dropbox ‘Faculty and Staff’, click on ‘Professional Development Forms and Information’, scroll down the page to locate the professional development information for your campus.
Campus Calendar: Please collaborate with your building level principal to see if he/she would like for you to view the calendar on line or obtain a hard copy from your supervisor. For additional co-op workshop listings see the link SE Education Summer Workshop 2022 at the bottom of this page.
Based on conversations with your principal/supervisor, identify the sixty (60) hours that you are required to take for professional development. 4 days of professional development (24 hours) On Your Own - Summer 2022, Back to School Week (22 hours), Open House (2 hours) Other in district PD (12 hours) are all required PD.

Therefore, professional development credit can not be awarded if you are not registered in ESC Works.
To register for a workshop on ESC Works (Co-op), on the left side of the page, click the yellow sign in button.

If you do not remember your login click on ‘Contact Us’ on the left side of the screen. Please do not create a new account if you have trouble logging in. Note: Your school email should be the primary email associated with your ESC Works account. Personal email, etc… causes conflict with awarding professional development credit.
